SONEX

"Our latest project for the Johan Sverdrup field has just left the factory. This product is custom designed by Acoustics and is a combination of a Sound Attenuator and a Jet Hood that we named SONEX. This idea enables the customer to reduce the noise coming from ventilation outlets, while mixing the exhaust air into the atmosphere. As seen below, these Sonex's reduced the in-duct sound level approximately 15 dB(A). Also, for better air distribution of the extract air and to improve the noise reduction values, we incorporated an acoustic insulated chamber with structural supports for each unit."

"Throughout the project, we maintained consistent communication with our client, AF Offshore AeronMollier, and was able to deliver this project on time meeting all requirements. This unit will be going on top of the Process Platform for Johan Sverdrup in the North Sea."
